Kids' Bedroom
This project is located in North York, Ontario. Some of the words that best describe the design of the room are dynamic, active, and timeless. The dad of the kids (6 and 4 years old) is characterized by being a fan of woodworking. This is a hobby that the he learned from his dad and his grandfather. It is a hobby that he wants to pass on to his older daughter who enjoys being with her dad when he is working on some pieces. The principal idea was to play around with the wood, creating at the same time a dynamic and playful room where the kids can enjoy playing.
Also, we created a very active movement in the room through the wallpaper's pattern. It gives playful energy. By keeping the room with light tones we create a fresh and relaxing environment as well for the kids to feel comfortable and relaxed.
